FotoDocument’s fringe documentary project is creating an online gallery of photographs highlighting environmental projects from around the world.  If you have photographs showing green initiatives which you feel are inspiring and would like people to know about, send us up to three photographs and we will consider them for FotoDocument’s on-line picture grid. These could be projects you are actively involved in or know about and have been impressed by.

Together with your photographs please include a short description (up to 150 words)  including where the project is based. You can include a web link where people can find out further information. Alongside the online grid we are creating  a world map so people can locate projects from across the globe.

In 2010 we will also select the best photographs and the most interesting projects to display as a touring public exhibition.

Please send your photographs (maximum three) only in the following format:

- Jpeg with no single photograph larger than 1MB when compressed

- Captions and credits either embedded in Photoshop File Info or included separately in your email

Your photographs can either be attached to an email and sent to our Gmail address fotodocumentfringe@gmail.com or transfer them using a service like YouSendIt where you can send files individually or zip three pictures together in a folder.

Please read our Terms:
By submitting the photographs you confirm that you are either the photographer or have the photographer’s permission to distribute the photographs and give us permisison to display the photograph online as part of  the FotoDocument Fringe project. We retain the right not to display any photographs we feel are unsuitable, not relevant to the environmental  theme or are not of a sufficiently good technical standard.  We will credit the photographer and acknowledge their copyright. We will not use the photograph in any other way without your permission and will contact you beforehand if your photograph is selected for the FotoDocument Fringe touring exhibition.
